Giordano’s Pizza…in Haiti?

Last week, to celebrate Pam’s 26th birthday, Silas and Daddy surprised “Mama” with a Giordano’s pizza for dinner.

How do you order Giordano’s pizza in Haiti?

Mon, Jan 7, PIGNON – Investigation and research and begins.

Thu, Jan 24, 1:30pm, FORT PIERCE – Although Missionary Flights International (MFI) had plans to transport cargo from Ft. Pierce, Florida to Pignon, Haiti on January 31st. We are notified that the flight filled up with passengers, and cargo would not be onboard the flight.

Fri, Jan 25, 11:17am, PIGNON – An appeal is made to MFI to make an exception and deliver one Giordano’s pizza on January 31st.

Mon, Jan 28, 10:10am, FORT PIERCE – The appeal is granted by MFI.

Mon, Jan 28, 10:13am, ROSEMONT – Giordano’s Pizza (mail order section) in Rosemont, Illinois, receives an order for one large spinach-stuffed pizza; rush delivery to Haiti.

Tue, Jan 29, 5:45pm, ROSEMONT – After the pizza is baked and frozen, it is placed in a cooler with dry ice and received by UPS in Rosemont, Illinois, for next-day air delivery to Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Wed, Jan 30, 10:19am, FORT PIERCE – MFI receives and signs for the delivery of one large Giordano’s pizza.

Wed, Jan 30, 12:04pm, FORT PIERCE – We are notified by MFI, that pilot, Wes Norton, has the pizza, and will personally deliver it.

Thu, Jan 31, 12:15pm, PIGNON – Under clear skies and ideal flight conditions, MFI flight 0131 lands in Pignon, Haiti.

Thu, Jan 31, 12:50pm, PIGNON – After being inspected by Agent Roland of Haitian Customs, the pizza is cleared for entry and consumption in the Republic of Haiti.
